Our math teacher's innovative teaching method


Our math consultant, Siva Heiman, is a retired math teacher. She has both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in math education and more than 40 years of classroom and tutoring experience with students from PreK to college.


Her biggest interest is helping students understand math so they feel comfortable and confident. She has invented many visual math materials that are designed to help students understand Common Core Math concepts. Our students enjoy mastering math thinking by playing games with her Visual Math™ playing cards.
